Delivery Walker

The Delivery Walker collects and delivers parcels, documents, food, or goods on foot within a defined zone. This role suits dense urban areas, residential towers, malls, and business districts, where walking is faster than driving. Key Responsibilities • Collect orders from the dispatch point, store, or client and check them against the delivery manifest. • Deliver items on foot to customers and businesses within the assigned zone, on time and in good condition. • Verify recipient details, obtain signatures, photos, or digital confirmation, and collect payment where required. • Use a mobile app or route sheet to plan efficient routes and report delivery status in real time. • Handle failed or delayed deliveries according to company procedure, and return undelivered items promptly. • Communicate politely and professionally with customers, building security, and reception staff. • Keep delivery bags and equipment clean, secure, and in good condition. • Report damaged goods, incidents, safety hazards, or customer complaints to the supervisor immediately. • Follow building access rules, safety guidelines, and local regulations. • Able to walk for extended periods and carry loads of up to 10–15 kg. • Able to work outdoors in varying weather, including heat. • Good knowledge of the local area, or the ability to learn it quickly. • Basic smartphone and navigation app skills. • Basic communication skills (English required; additional languages a plus). • Reliable, punctual, and honest, with strong attention to detail. • Neat, professional appearance. • Right to work in the country and any required permits or ID. Preferred Qualifications • Previous experience in delivery, courier, or customer service. • Familiarity with delivery or dispatch apps. • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Working Conditions • Mostly outdoors, with frequent walking, stairs, and elevators. • Shift-based schedule, with peak periods during meal times and holidays. • Uniform and delivery bag provided by the company.
