Key Responsibilities **Architect enterprise data platforms:** large\-scale DWH, data marts, ODS, integration hubs, and analytical layers with a focus on Oracle\-native deployments including Exadata Design and own HLD/LLD artefacts, canonical data models, source\-to\-target mappings, and platform topology diagrams **Lead hands\-on implementation of complex data workstreams:** schema design, PL/SQL development, ETL/ELT pipeline build, partition strategies, and MView refresh architectures Define platform\-wide standards for data modelling (Kimball, Data Vault 2\.0, 3NF), naming conventions, data quality, and code structure Conduct architecture and code reviews; provide technical direction and mentorship to junior and mid\-level engineers Tune and optimise Oracle platform performance execution plans, partition pruning, indexing strategies, parallel query, compression, and Exadata\-specific features (Smart Scan, Storage Indexes, Hybrid Columnar Compression) Engage directly with client architects, DBAs, and business SMEs during discovery, design workshops, and delivery checkpoints **Produce and maintain delivery\-grade technical documentation:** architecture decisions, deployment runbooks, data dictionaries, and operational handover packs Contribute technical input to proposals and pre\-sales platform sizing, solution approach, and effort estimation on Oracle\-heavy scopes Required Skills \& Experience 7\+ years in data engineering, data architecture, or data platform roles **Deep hands\-on expertise in the Oracle stack:** PL/SQL, partitioning, RAC, Exadata architecture, Materialized Views, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle GoldenGate (CDC), and Oracle DB 19c\+ Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise\-scale data platforms multi\-terabyte DWH environments, high\-availability configurations, and multi\-source integration layers Strong data modelling depth across Kimball dimensional, Data Vault 2\.0, and 3NF/relational designs **Solid grasp of data integration patterns:** CDC, bulk/incremental load, SCD types, and event\-driven ingestion Experience with SQL Server (T\-SQL, SSIS, SSAS) is a strong plus many engagements span both platforms Ability to produce clear, structured technical documentation to delivery and client\-presentation standard Professional services or consultancy background strongly preferred must be comfortable owning technical outcomes on client\-facing projects Experience delivering projects for police, law enforcement, public safety, or similar government security entities will be preferred. Nice to Have Familiarity with OpenShift for containerised data platform components particularly deploying middleware, integration services, or data tooling on OCP in on\-prem or hybrid environments Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Oracle Autonomous Database **BI layer experience:** OBIEE, Power BI, or Oracle Analytics Cloud What we offer Full\-time employment. 0,5 year contract.
