Data Governance and Architecture Specialist

Design and implement data architectures using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. Define architecture standards for data ingestion, integration, storage, transformation, and consumption. Configure and implement Microsoft Fabric components, including OneLake, Lakehouses, Warehouses, and Data Factory pipelines. Implement Microsoft Purview capabilities for data discovery, cataloging, classification, and lineage. Configure data-source connections and scans, and troubleshoot metadata ingestion and integration issues. Translate governance policies into technical controls for data access, sensitive data handling, and lifecycle management. Work with data owners and stewards to establish business glossaries, ownership, and data quality requirements. Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, security, and business teams to ensure solutions meet organizational needs. Review existing data environments and recommend improvements to performance, scalability, security, and governance. Maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, configuration standards, and implementation guidance. We are seeking a Data Governance and Architecture Specialist with strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure Data Platform, Microsoft Fabric architecture, and Microsoft Purview.
