Credit Card Subject Matter Expert

• Deeply analyze credit card product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing management, ensuring strategic alignment and market competitiveness. • Develop and refine credit card policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices for risk mitigation. • Serve as the primary point of contact for complex credit card inquiries, providing expert guidance and solutions to internal teams and external partners. • Design and implement innovative credit card features and benefits that enhance customer value and drive portfolio growth. • Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or a related field. • 10–15+ years of experience in credit cards within the banking sector, covering both business and technology aspects. • Experience in a large-scale core banking or cards platform transformation or migration. • UAE or GCC cards market experience preferred, including familiarity with AECB and local regulations. Technical Skills • Experience with card management systems such as Way4, HPS PowerCARD, TSYS, Euronet or equivalent. • Knowledge of Visa and Mastercard scheme rules, ISO 8583, EMV, 3-D Secure and tokenisation. • Strong understanding of PCI DSS requirements and controls. • Knowledge of card fraud, authorisation and dispute management processes. • Understanding of BIAN card service domains and API-led integration. Preferred Certifications • PCI Professional (PCIP). • Accredited Payments Risk Professional or equivalent payments certification. • Visa or Mastercard scheme training.
