Controls Engineer

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial and mechanical applications. Programme, configure, and maintain PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, and HMI (Human Machine Interface) panels. Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver projects on time and within scope. Prepare technical documentation including control system specifications, wiring diagrams, and commissioning reports. Identify and resolve control system faults and performance issues promptly. Ensure all control systems comply with UAE safety standards and regulatory requirements. Required Experience & Skills Proven experience as a Controls Engineer within the UAE or GCC region is mandatory. Strong proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI configuration. Solid understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems. Experience with industrial automation and control system integration. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Control Systems Engineering or a related discipline. Must be currently based in the UAE with valid residency and legal right to work.
