Content Writer (Native English Speakers)

• · Develop and contribute to the content strategy for the banking website · Write, edit, and update website content to ensure accuracy, clarity, regulatory awareness, consistency in tone and messaging · Translate complex banking concepts into simple, user-friendly language · Align content with: o Brand guidelines and messaging tone o UX and customer journey best practices o SEO · Collaborate with required stakeholders - marketing, product, compliance/legal stakeholders · Ensure consistency between English and Arabic content • Core Skills & Competencies: · Strong research and fact-checking skills · Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities · Ability to work with structured content and brand tone of voice · Attention to detail, especially for regulated content · Time management and ability to meet deadlines · Comfortable working with feedback and revisions Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience: · Experience working with Tridion CMS platforms · Knowledge of compliance, regulatory, or legal review processes · Experience in content audits and content gap analysis · Familiarity with accessibility and readability standards Candidates must meet all of the following: · Proven experience in content writing for the retail banking, digital banking, fintech or financial institutions · UX writing or microcopy experience (CTAs, forms, error messages) · Minimum 3 years of professional content writing experience · Strong understanding of banking products and services, such as: Accounts, loans, credit cards, Islamic banking, investments, digital banking, etc. · Experience writing website content, including: Home Page, Product pages, Informational pages, Customer education content, FAQs etc. · Ability to write persuasive, clear, accurate and compliant content suitable as per regulations · Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, linguistics, or related field (Master’s degree, a plus) Language proficiency: Native English proficiency
