Overview A premium private hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Consultant in Pediatric ENT to diagnose and manage ear, nose, and throat conditions in infants, children, and adolescents. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive pediatric otolaryngology services, manage complex cases, perform appropriate surgical procedures, and collaborate with pediatric and other specialist teams to deliver safe, effective care.
Clinical Responsibilities • Evaluate and manage pediatric ear, nose, and throat conditions.
• Diagnose and treat recurrent ear infections, hearing-related disorders, tonsillar and adenoidal conditions, and nasal and sinus disorders.
• Assess airway, swallowing, voice, and other ENT-related concerns in children.
• Perform appropriate diagnostic procedures and surgical interventions within the physician's clinical privileges.
• Manage complex pediatric ENT cases and coordinate referrals when necessary.
• Explain diagnoses, procedures, risks, and treatment options to parents and caregivers.
• Coordinate perioperative care and follow-up treatment.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to patient-safety and infection-control standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and quality-improvement activities.
Requirements
• Recognized specialist qualification in Otolaryngology/ENT with appropriate pediatric ENT expertise.
• Consultant-level experience consistent with UAE licensing requirements.
• Eligibility for, or an active licence from, the relevant UAE health authority, as required.
• Demonstrated competence in pediatric ENT assessment and management.
• Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and high-quality patient care.
