The successful candidate will provide consultant-level neurosurgical assessment, surgical planning, operative care and post-operative management. The physician will work closely with neurology, radiology, intensive care, rehabilitation and other relevant departments. Clinical Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive neurosurgical consultations. • Assess patients presenting with neurological and neurosurgical conditions. • Review relevant imaging, laboratory investigations and clinical history. • Determine appropriate surgical and non-surgical management pathways. • Perform neurosurgical procedures within the physician's credentialed scope. • Provide pre-operative assessment and patient preparation. • Provide post-operative management and follow-up. • Monitor patients for complications and initiate appropriate management. • Participate in multidisciplinary clinical discussions. • Communicate treatment options and relevant risks to patients and families. • Maintain comprehensive surgical and clinical documentation. • Comply with hospital protocols and UAE healthcare regulations. Requirements • Recognized medical degree. • Recognized specialist qualification in Neurosurgery. • Significant consultant-level neurosurgical experience. • Eligibility for the appropriate UAE medical licence. • Strong surgical and clinical skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
