Consultant - Neonatology

Clinical Responsibilities Provide consultant-level neonatal care. Assess and manage premature and critically ill newborns. Provide care for neonates requiring intensive monitoring and intervention. Manage respiratory, infectious, metabolic and other neonatal conditions. Participate in neonatal resuscitation. Provide management of newborns with complex medical conditions. Coordinate care with obstetric and pediatric teams. Review laboratory, imaging and other neonatal investigations. Develop individualized treatment plans. Communicate clinical information and treatment plans to parents. Participate in multidisciplinary neonatal meetings. Maintain comprehensive neonatal records. Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and patient-safety activities. Requirements Recognized medical degree. Recognized specialist qualification in Pediatrics with subspecialty training in Neonatology. Consultant-level neonatology experience. Experience in NICU settings. DOH licence or eligibility. Strong neonatal resuscitation and critical-care skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
