Consultant Gastroenterologist

Take on the role of consultant in Gastroenterology at a prestigious hospital, where you will provide specialized care for patients with digestive system disorders, drive research initiatives, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care, and ensure the implementation of advanced gastroenterology services and protocols. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Provides high-quality gastroenterology care to patients in this area of medicine. • Provide consultative service as requested. • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents. • Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participates in research activities. • Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed. • Performs special procedures as privileged. • Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures. • Performs other related duties as assigned. • Medical degree from a recognized institution. • Completion of accredited Gastroenterology training. • Holder of a Western Board Certification, CCT, Specialist Registration, or equivalent Western qualification (American, Canadian, UK, Irish, Australian, New Zealand, or European). • Minimum 3-5 years of post-certification experience at Consultant level. • Eligible for Consultant classification by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) . • Arabic speaker (mandatory). • Professional proficiency in English. • Dataflow verification and Saudi licensing requirements must be met. • Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills.
