Job description
Job Summary:
Responsible for planning, managing, and delivering construction projects from inception to completion while ensuring compliance with approved budgets, schedules, quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from start to finish.
Develop project schedules, budgets, work plans, and resource requirements.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Monitor project progress and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
Manage project costs, budgets, invoices, and financial forecasts.
Review construction plans, specifications, contracts, and technical documents.
Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely completion.
Conduct regular site inspections and project progress meetings.
Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, safety regulations, and company standards.
Identify project risks, delays, and potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
Manage changes, variations, claims, and contract requirements.
Coordinate procurement and ensure materials and equipment are delivered on schedule.
Maintain project documentation, reports, schedules, and records.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to clients and senior management.
Ensure proper quality control and adherence to approved construction specifications.
Lead project closeout, inspections, handover, and completion documentation.
Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
5\+ years of experience managing construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management, contracts, and building regulations.
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, contractors, and multiple project activities.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem\-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of project management software and Microsoft Office.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant construction/project management certification is an advantage.
Professional engineering or construction\-related license is an advantage.
Pay: RO1,800\.000 per month
