**Job Title: Commercial Manager – Ports \& Terminals** **Location: Qatar** Chronicle is supporting a leading port and terminal operator in Qatar in the search for an experienced **Commercial Manager**. This is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for supporting long\-term business growth, developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new commercial opportunities, and improving service delivery for shipping lines and other port users. The successful candidate should bring strong commercial experience within the **ports, terminals, shipping, or maritime sector**, together with a solid understanding of the GCC market. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and implement commercial and business development strategies. * Identify new business opportunities and support sustainable revenue growth. * Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, shipowners, agents, customers, and other industry stakeholders. * Manage and support tender submissions, commercial proposals, and negotiations. * Develop opportunities to introduce new or additional services to customers. * Support customer satisfaction and overall service delivery. * Establish and monitor customer\-service standards and relevant KPIs. * Coordinate the resolution of customer issues, complaints, and service challenges with Operations, Planning, Finance, and other internal teams. * Analyse customer feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement. * Support commercial budgeting, target setting, and business planning. * Lead and support commercial team performance. **Candidate Profile** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or a related discipline. * Approximately **10\+ years of progressive commercial planning or business development experience**. * At least **5 years of relevant industry experience**, ideally within ports or terminal operations. * Significant managerial and team\-leadership experience. * Strong understanding of the port, terminal, shipping, and maritime environment. * Proven experience in business development, commercial strategy, customer management, and negotiation. * Experience preparing and managing tenders or major commercial submissions. * Strong relationships with shipping lines, shipowners, port users, or related maritime stakeholders. * Excellent stakeholder\-management and presentation skills. * Strong understanding of Qatar and/or the wider GCC business environment. * **Professional proficiency in Arabic and English is required.** Pay: QAR23,000\.00 \- QAR25,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
