Cold and technical engineer

• Monitor the performance and smooth operation of all cold-end equipment, including conveyors, inspection machines, palletisers, wrapping machines and automatic labelling machines. • Ensure quick identification, troubleshooting and resolution of equipment failures to minimise production downtime. • Perform machine settings and adjustments to maintain production efficiency and product quality. • Execute job changeovers as per established checklists, defect samples and work instructions. • Ensure proper functioning and settings of inspection machines and packing equipment. • Carry out preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, cleaning, inspection and repair of cold-end equipment. • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions. • Maintain equipment breakdown records, maintenance reports and action updates using CAM/CMMS software. • Coordinate with technicians, maintenance and production teams to resolve technical issues. • Participate in daily and weekly production meetings to review performance and implement improvement plans. • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, productivity and operational efficiency. • Support the installation, setup and commissioning of new equipment. • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, environmental requirements and food safety guidelines. • Follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions. • Perform additional tasks as required for the efficient operation of the plant. • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment maintenance. • Experience in troubleshooting and breakdown handling. • Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance. • Understanding of production processes and machine changeovers. • Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis and implement process improvements. • Familiarity with CAM/CMMS maintenance software. • Good coordination and communication skills. • Ability to work independently in a shift-based production environment. • Strong focus on safety, quality and production efficiency.
