Civil Supervisor

**Tasks and Responsibilities:** **Concrete Foundations \& Structural Works:** * Supervise site preparation, concrete pouring, and civil foundations for local control panels (LCPs), equipment enclosures, and structural supports. * Oversee modifications and structural repairs of protective field sunshades and canopy structures. * Manage civil installation and anchoring for Junction Boxes and field instrument stands according to plant standards. **Excavation \& Underground Utilities:** * Supervise hand\-dug trenches to safely locate existing underground services and utilities prior to mechanical digging. * Supervise manual and mechanical excavation, trenching, and backfilling for specialized cable routes, including Fiber Optic Cables (FOC) and Power/UPS cables. * Ensure trench restoration, soil compaction, and site reinstatement following cable installation and client inspections. **Control Room \& Earthing Modifications:** * Manage civil modifications, core cutting, and floor adjustments in control rooms and substations to accommodate new system cabinets and control consoles. * Supervise the construction, installation, and testing of dedicated clean earth pits and their integration into the main plant grounding grid. **Safety and Quality Responsibilities:** * Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company safety standards while performing tasks. * Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights. **Competencies Required** (a) Educational Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent engineering/technical diploma). (b) Experience * Minimum **8 years** of civil supervisory experience in oil \& gas, refinery, or petrochemical facilities. (c) Skills **Technical Skills** * Experienced in civil foundations, cable trenching, underground utility identification, and control room modifications. * Proficient in reading civil engineering drawings, executing Permit\-to\-Work protocols, and supervising earthing pit installations. **Personal Skills** Teamwork, Leadership, Communication, Problem solving, Decision making, Customer Focus, Adaptability, Attention to details. Languages * Fluency in English (speak, read, and write). Work Location: In person
