Civil Engineer (Oil and Gas Project)

**Job Description – Civil Engineer (Oil \& Gas Project)** **Position:** Civil Engineer **Location:** Qatar **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **Civil Engineer** to join our Oil \& Gas project team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing civil engineering activities, construction, and site execution to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with client specifications and industry standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities throughout the project lifecycle. * Review civil engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical documents. * Monitor site construction to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and HSE regulations. * Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams. * Oversee earthworks, foundations, structural concrete, steel structures, roads, drainage, and underground utilities. * Ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, procedures, and project schedules. * Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to civil works. * Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and client representatives. * Monitor project progress and prepare technical and progress reports. * Review contractor work, material approvals, and inspection requests. * Support project commissioning, handover, and close\-out activities. * Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with company and client HSE policies. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree in **Civil Engineering** or an equivalent discipline. * Minimum **7–10 years of experience** in the Oil \& Gas industry. * Proven experience in civil works, construction supervision, and site execution. * Experience working on **EPIC** or major Oil \& Gas projects is preferred. * Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and international standards. * Familiarity with project specifications, quality control procedures, and HSE requirements. * Excellent communication, leadership, and problem\-solving skills.
