Civil Engineer - 132/11 kV Substation construction

We are an established Engineering and contracting company having Head Office in Dubai undertaking 132/11kV substation construction projects across UAE. Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Civil Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in civil engineering. Job Title: Civil Engineer / Sr. Civil Engineer Location: Dubai, UAE Position Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities: • Supervise Site: Direct site operations and enforce safety. • Document: Maintain accurate project records. • Ensure Quality: Implement quality control measures. • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to DEWA or TRANSCO standards and obtain approvals. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise civil construction activities for substation projects. • Execute foundations, control buildings, cable trenches, duct banks, and associated civil works. • Review construction drawings and technical specifications. • Coordinate with Electrical, QA/QC, HSE, and Project teams. • Monitor subcontractor performance and site progress. • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. • Verify work quantities and construction quality. • Prepare progress reports and site documentation. • Support project handover activities. Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. • Minimum 7+ years of experience in 132kV GIS/AIS Substation Projects. • Experience in Utility, T&D, or EPC Projects. • GCC/UAE experience is preferred.
