Chief Accountant

• Prepare the monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) in line with USALI and IFRS, with variance analysis against budget and prior year. • Lead the month-end close, with accruals, prepayments, bank and intercompany reconciliations, and fixed asset and inventory accounting. • Present the monthly results and commentary to the Finance Manager. • Supervise and develop the accounts team (AP, AR, payroll, income audit, cost control). • Make sure VAT and Corporate Tax filings, WPS payroll payments and statutory deadlines are met, working with tax advisors. • Support the annual audit and budget and forecast preparation. • Maintain internal controls & Compliances, payment approvals etc. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. • 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 in a hotel or hospitality environment. • Strong knowledge of USALI, IFRS, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax. • Hands-on experience with Hospitality systems (e.g. Opera PMS, POS) and an ERP or back-office accounting system, plus advanced Excel. • Proven ability to prepare and present financial reports to senior management. • Strong leadership, attention to detail and communication skills.
