Chemical Cleaning Safety Engineer / Supervisor

PPC is seeking an experienced Chemical Cleaning Safety Engineer / Supervisor to oversee safety during pipeline chemical cleaning and pre-commissioning activities for oil & gas projects in Saudi Arabia. • Previous Saudi Aramco approval as a Safety Engineer or Safety Supervisor is mandatory. Candidates must provide documentary evidence identifying the approved position and project. Saudi Aramco project experience alone is not sufficient. • Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. • Direct experience in safety supervision of pipeline chemical cleaning, flushing, pigging and pre-commissioning activities , including Saudi Aramco projects. • Strong knowledge of chemical handling, storage and mixing safety, chemical compatibility, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), exposure controls and spill response. • Experience preparing risk assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSA), coordinating permit-to-work requirements, and controlling hazards associated with isolation, pressurized systems and nitrogen. • Familiarity with applicable Saudi Aramco safety requirements and SAEP-388 , as relevant to pipeline chemical cleaning and pre-commissioning. • Strong field supervision, safety reporting, toolbox-talk delivery and English communication skills. NEBOSH IGC or an equivalent safety qualification is preferred.
