CCTV Technician – Job Description **Position:** CCTV Technician **Key Responsibilities:** * Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras and surveillance systems. * Troubleshoot and repair CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, monitors, and related equipment. * Configure IP cameras, network connections, and CCTV systems. * Monitor and test camera performance, recording, and playback. * Conduct regular maintenance and ensure all cameras are working properly. * Identify and resolve wiring, connectivity, and equipment issues. * Replace faulty cameras, cables, power supplies, and other components. * Maintain proper records of CCTV equipment, repairs, and maintenance. * Coordinate with the IT/Security team for technical issues and system upgrades. * Follow company safety and security procedures. **Requirements:** * Previous experience as a CCTV Technician or similar role. * Knowledge of CCTV, DVR/NVR, IP cameras, and networking. * Basic knowledge of LAN, switches, routers, and structured cabling. * Ability to troubleshoot hardware and connectivity problems. * Good communication and problem\-solving skills. * Relevant technical certification or qualification is an advantage. * GCC experience is preferred.
