CCTV OperatorJob Summary The CCTV Operator is responsible for monitoring CCTV cameras and security systems to ensure the safety and security of company premises, employees, customers, and assets. The operator must identify and report suspicious activities, incidents, and security risks promptly. Key Responsibilities * Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems continuously. * Observe and identify suspicious, unusual, or unauthorized activities. * Report security incidents immediately to the Security Supervisor/Manager. * Record and maintain accurate details of incidents and observations. * Review CCTV footage when required for investigations. * Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, stores, and other sensitive locations. * Coordinate with security guards and relevant departments during incidents. * Ensure CCTV equipment is functioning properly and report technical issues. * Maintain confidentiality of CCTV recordings and security information. * Follow company security procedures and policies. * Prepare daily monitoring and incident reports when required. * Support management/security teams during emergencies or investigations. Requirements * Previous experience as a **CCTV Operator** or in a similar security role is preferred. * Good observation and monitoring skills. * Basic computer knowledge. * Ability to operate CCTV monitoring and recording systems. * Good communication skills. * Ability to remain alert and focused for long periods. * Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. * Responsible, trustworthy, and disciplined. Preferred Skills * Experience with DVR/NVR and IP CCTV systems. * Basic knowledge of CCTV troubleshooting. * Ability to identify security risks and respond quickly. * Good reporting and documentation skills. * Knowledge of security procedures is an advantage.
