Supermarket Cashier – Job Responsibilities \& Requirements Position: Cashier – Supermarket Job Responsibilities * Operate the POS system and process customer payments accurately. * Provide friendly, professional, and respectful customer service. * Register new supermarket products with the correct barcode and selling price. * Answer the supermarket phone and follow up on delivery orders. * Monitor product expiry dates and report near\-expiry products. * Assist customers in finding products and provide basic information about items. * Keep the cashier area and surrounding supermarket area clean and organized. * Complete daily cash closing and ensure the cash balance is correct. * Handle cash and customer transactions honestly and responsibly. * Follow supermarket policies and management instructions. * Assist with general supermarket duties when required. Candidate Requirements * At least 1 year of previous cashier or supermarket experience. * Able to speak Arabic and English. * Honest, trustworthy, and responsible. * Good communication and customer\-service skills. * Familiar with POS systems and cash handling. * Able to work morning and evening shifts. * Must live in Al Wukair or nearby. * Willing to assist with general supermarket duties when needed.
