Cash Centre Officer

Job Accountabilities • Manage daily cash processing, including counting, balancing, reconciliation, authentication, packaging and dispatch. • Ensure cash is processed accurately, securely and within agreed service levels. • Support vault operations, cash inventory verification, dual-control procedures and access management. • Coordinate ATM cash preparation, cassette loading, balancing, reconciliation and inventory planning. • Ensure compliance with company policies, security controls and regulatory requirements. • Investigate discrepancies and support audits, loss-prevention activities and risk management. • Handle operational queries and contribute to service reviews, process improvements and new technology implementation. Skills • Strong knowledge of cash processing, vault operations, ATM services and reconciliation. • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. • Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-security environment. • Good communication and stakeholder-management skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems. • High levels of integrity, accountability and confidentiality Education / Qualifications • Bachelor s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Logistics, Security Management, or a related field. • Professional certification in cash management, banking, security, or operations is an advantage. • Minimum five years of experience in cash centres, vault operations, banking operations, cash processing or cash management. • Previous experience managing cash-handling or cash-processing operations. • Experience with banks, financial institutions, exchange houses or secure logistics companies is preferred.
