Job description
• Oversee daily camp operations to ensure a safe and efficient living environment for all personnel, managing schedules and logistics effectively.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all camp-related matters, addressing concerns and providing solutions to both staff and management.
• Supervise and coordinate the camp staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and fostering a positive team atmosphere.
• Implement and monitor health and safety protocols, conducting regular inspections to maintain compliance and address potential hazards.
• Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that all necessary resources are available for camp activities and day-to-day operations.
• Maintain records of camp activities, incidents, and staff performance to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Facilitate communication between staff and upper management, ensuring that updates, concerns, and feedback are effectively relayed.
• Organize and oversee recreational and team-building activities to enhance morale and promote a positive camp culture.
• Conduct orientation and training sessions for new staff, ensuring they are well-prepared and informed about camp policies and procedures.
• Manage budgeting and financial reporting for camp operations, ensuring that expenditures align with company standards while maintaining quality services.
• Mandatoyr experience of managing 500 plus employees in one camp
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in camp management or similar roles within the hospitality or oil & gas industries is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred for a solid foundational knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills are vital for managing multiple tasks and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with a diverse workforce are essential for fostering an inclusive camp environment.
• Strong technical skills in camp management software and budgeting tools are crucial for efficient operations and financial tracking.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills are required to inspire and motivate staff while resolving conflicts effectively.
• Certifications in first aid, fire safety, and food safety are necessary to ensure the health and well-being of camp residents.
