The Camp Boss is responsible for the efficient day-to-day management of the camp, ensuring that accommodation, catering, housekeeping, maintenance, and welfare services are delivered to company standards. The role ensures compliance with health, safety, environmental, and client requirements while maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all camp residents.
Responsibilities: -
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the camp, including accommodation, housekeeping, laundry, catering, maintenance, security, and recreational facilities.
• Ensure all camp facilities are clean, safe, well maintained, and compliant with health, safety, environmental, quality, and food hygiene standards.
• Supervise camp personnel, coordinate work schedules, monitor performance, and enforce company policies, camp rules, and disciplinary procedures.
• Oversee room allocation, occupancy records, check-in/check-out processes, inventory control, and the availability of camp supplies and consumables.
• Conduct regular inspections of accommodation, kitchens, dining areas, and common facilities, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Address resident concerns, coordinate emergency response procedures, liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, and ensure uninterrupted camp services.
• Maintain accurate operational records, prepare daily and monthly reports, monitor service quality, and recommend improvements to enhance camp efficiency and resident satisfaction.
Requirements: -
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in camp management, hospitality, facilities management, or a similar role, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or industrial camps.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and team management skills.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping, catering, maintenance, inventory control, and camp administration.
• Familiarity with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and reporting/documentation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in remote or multicultural environments.
