CAD Draftsperson

**Education** Diploma (Civil), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Civil), Bachelor of Architecture **Job description:** Preparing drawings such as wall setting out, floor finishes plan, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, joinery, stone, glass, metal, and related details. * Preparation of Architectural drawings for authority approval (DM/DDA/ DCD/Emaar/Nakheel etc) preferable. * Prepare shop drawings based on the BOQ and tender drawings and specifications as instructed by Design Manager * Coordinate mechanical, electrical and HVAC drawings and other trades. * Manage ongoing revisions and changes as per directions and deadlines. **Desired Candidate Profile** * Diploma / bachelor’s in civil, or Architectural Engineering, or a related field. * 3\-8 years’ experience working in UAE as a CAD Draftsman in Architecture \&Interior Fit Out industry. · Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD * Must have experience in Fit\-out and joinery shop drawings * Experience in authority approval drawing preparation. * Hands\-on experience in preparing shop drawings as per the final Bill of Quantities (BOQ) * Knowledge of building codes and construction practices. Develop drawing details \& shop drawings based on client's requirement, tender drawings, site surveys and technical specifications. Also creates and constantly updates a library of standard CAD details. · Prepare concept and detail design in collaboration with the Technical Manager, Design coordinator and MEP designers. Supervises the accuracy of CAD drawings to ensure correct interpretation of design intent. · Visits site pre and post contract to ensure that the actual site measurements and specifics are reflected in the drawings and to resolve any detailing issue as per site conditions. · Assists with the interpretation of the architectural drawings and specification in conjunction with the actual site measurements and conditions. * · Attends internal and external coordination meetings. · Develop interior layouts and shop drawings based on client's requirement, tender drawings or site photos and images with reference to given size, dimension and specifications. · Review and finalize drawings received from the client. · Produce As Built Drawings package and any other related drawings / details. · Liaise and coordinate with the Technical Manager on all the on\-going projects and schedules. · Report to the Design Director and the other Directors on all the ongoing projects and schedules. Responsible for managing his/her team and ensuring work is completed on time and with quality. Job Type: Full\-time Pay: AED8,000\.00 \- AED12,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
