**Job Title: Business Unit Lead – PFP Coating** Company: Vortexen Dynamics Industrial Solutions Location: Abu Dhabi / Dubai, UAE Job Type: Full\-time Industry: Passive Fire Protection / Fireproofing / Protective Coating / Industrial Services Job Description Vortexen Dynamics Industrial Solutions is looking for a UAE\-experienced Business Unit Lead – PFP Coating to develop and manage our Passive Fire Protection Coating division. The ideal candidate must have strong technical and commercial experience in PFP coating, fireproofing coating, intumescent coating, protective coating, and industrial coating works across multiple sectors, including oil \& gas, marine, power plants, civil construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage the Passive Fire Protection Coating business scope. Identify new project opportunities across oil \& gas, marine, power plants, civil construction, industrial, infrastructure, and facility management sectors. Attend client meetings, site visits, technical discussions, and project coordination meetings. Review enquiries, drawings, BOQ, specifications, method statements, and coating requirements. Support estimation, proposal preparation, technical submittals, and commercial submissions. Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, EPC contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, OEMs, and internal teams. Handle protective coating, fireproofing coating, intumescent coating, epoxy coating, PU coating, anti\-corrosion coating, steel structure coating, and related coating enquiries. Monitor surface preparation, primer application, coating application, DFT/WFT requirements, curing, finishing, repair works, and inspection support. Prepare and maintain project trackers, daily reports, progress updates, inspection records, and completion documents. Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, work fronts, and site execution requirements. Support QA/QC inspections, consultant approvals, client coordination, and project handover. Build supplier/OEM relationships for approved coating materials and technical support. Report project risks, delays, variations, material shortages, and business opportunities to management. Candidate Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field. Minimum 5 years of UAE/GCC experience in passive fire protection coating, fireproofing coating, protective coating, intumescent coating, industrial coating, or related works. Must have experience in multiple sectors such as oil \& gas, marine, power plants, civil construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects. Strong knowledge of surface preparation, coating systems, DFT/WFT checking, coating inspection, QA/QC documentation, and site execution. Ability to read drawings, specifications, BOQ, technical documents, and method statements. Experience in handling client meetings, site surveys, estimation coordination, technical clarifications, and project follow\-up. Good communication, coordination, documentation, and reporting skills.
