Business Continuity & Resilience

About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned Business Continuity & Resilience Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery strategies to ensure organizational resilience against disruptions. Responsibilities: • Develop, update, and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans across all business units • Conduct regular business impact analyses (BIAs) and risk assessments to identify critical processes and resilience gaps • Design and execute scheduled tests and simulations, evaluate results, and implement improvements • Lead incident response and crisis management activities during business disruptions • Collaborate with IT, operations, facilities, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment of recovery solutions • Provide training, awareness workshops, and documentation to stakeholders on continuity and resilience procedures • Monitor regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 22301) to ensure ongoing compliance • Prepare and present resilience metrics and reports to senior leadership Required Qualifications: • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field • 10 12 years of progressive experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, and resilience planning • Deep technical knowledge of disaster recovery solutions (e.g., data replication, backup technologies, site failover) • Proven experience developing and executing business impact analyses and risk assessments • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present to senior executives • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for continuity and resilience Preferred Qualifications: • Master s degree or professional certification such as CBCP, MBCP, or DRII certification • Experience within financial services or government sectors in the UAE • Knowledge of UAE regulatory environment and recovery requirements • Hands-on experience with cyber resilience frameworks and integration with IT security • Arabic language proficiency Position Details • Position Title: Business Continuity & Resilience • Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates • Experience Required: 10+ years • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field • 10 12 years of progressive experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, and resilience planning • Deep technical knowledge of disaster recovery solutions (e.g., data replication, backup technologies, site failover) • Proven experience developing and executing business impact analyses and risk assessments • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present to senior executives • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for continuity and resilience Preferred Qualifications: • Master s degree or professional certification such as CBCP, MBCP, or DRII certification • Experience within financial services or government sectors in the UAE • Knowledge of UAE regulatory environment and recovery requirements • Hands-on experience with cyber resilience frameworks and integration with IT security • Arabic language proficiency
