**Location:** Duqm, Sultanate of Oman **Mobilization:** January 2027 **Duration:** 10 months **Sector:** BESS / Renewable Energy / Energy Storage **About the Role** ------------------ SEGULA Technologies Middle East is seeking an experienced **BESS Engineer** to supervise installation, integration, commissioning and performance testing of utility\-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Supervise BESS installation and integration activities. * Monitor battery system installation. * Verify **Battery Management System (BMS)** integration. * Coordinate electrical and control\-system interfaces. * Supervise and verify battery fire\-safety systems. * Monitor testing and commissioning. * Witness functional and performance testing. * Review technical documentation and test procedures. * Support resolution of BESS integration issues. * Coordinate with electrical, commissioning and HSE teams. * Support final acceptance and handover. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline. * **Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience.** * Proven **BESS design, integration and commissioning experience**. * Strong understanding of BMS architecture and interfaces. * Experience with utility\-scale battery systems. * Knowledge of battery safety and fire\-protection systems. * Strong commissioning and performance\-testing experience. The requested profile requires 8\+ years with BESS integration/commissioning and responsibility for BMS, fire safety and performance testing
