Barista **Location:** Kuwait **Employment Type:** Full\-Time **Department:** Operations **Industry:** Café / Bakery / Restaurant Job Summary We are looking for a passionate, customer\-focused, and skilled **Barista** to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in coffee preparation, excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of café operations. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso\-based coffee, specialty coffee, teas, juices, and other beverages. * Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other beverage equipment. * Ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion standards. * Take customer orders accurately and provide friendly and professional service. * Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar, equipment, workstations, and service areas. * Follow company recipes, beverage standards, food safety, and hygiene procedures. * Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups, cups, and other beverage supplies and report shortages to the supervisor. * Handle customer requests and complaints professionally. * Process orders and payments accurately through the designated POS system. * Support the team during busy periods and maintain efficient service. * Follow all company policies, grooming standards, and operational procedures. Requirements * Previous experience as a **Barista** in a café, restaurant, bakery, hotel, or similar hospitality environment. * Good knowledge of espresso preparation and coffee\-making techniques. * Ability to operate professional coffee machines and grinders. * Good communication and customer service skills. * Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn. * Ability to work under pressure in a fast\-paced environment. * Good personal hygiene and professional grooming. * Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required. Preferred Qualifications * Barista certification or professional coffee training is an advantage. * Experience with specialty coffee and latte art is preferred. * Experience working in high\-volume café or restaurant operations is an advantage.
