Backend Developer (Database and API)

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Node.js, C#/.NET, API development, SQL Server and Azure. The role involves developing and maintaining backend applications, APIs, database systems and integrations supporting our e-commerce and business operations. • Build and manage backend applications using C#, .NET Core and .NET Framework. • Develop, maintain and optimise RESTful APIs using Node.js and .NET. • Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views and triggers. • Integrate APIs with internal applications, third-party platforms and external systems. • Optimise database queries and application performance. • Develop and maintain microservices and backend integrations. • Deploy and manage applications using Microsoft Azure. • Troubleshoot API, database and backend application issues. • Ensure API security, reliability and scalability. • Experience: 5–10 years of relevant hands-on backend development experience. • Node.js & Strong programming skills and hands-on backend development experience. • C# / .NET Core / .NET Framework: Strong coding and application development experience. • REST API Development: Proven experience independently developing, integrating and maintaining RESTful APIs. • MS SQL Server (2016/2019/2022): Advanced SQL, complex queries, stored procedures and database performance optimisation. • Microsoft Azure: Experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions and application deployment. • Troubleshooting: Strong debugging, problem-solving and application performance optimisation skills. • Independent Development: Ability to independently develop, maintain and troubleshoot backend applications and system integrations.
