Automotive Mechanical Engineer

• Diagnose, inspect, and troubleshoot mechanical faults in passenger vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment. • Perform repair and maintenance of engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, cooling, and air conditioning systems. • Conduct routine servicing and preventive maintenance according to manufacturer standards. • Inspect vehicles and identify the root cause of mechanical issues, providing accurate repair recommendations. • Perform road tests before and after repairs to ensure vehicle performance and safety. • Read and interpret technical manuals, repair procedures, and wiring diagrams. • Coordinate with Service Advisors and Workshop Supervisors to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs. • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company quality standards and safety regulations. • Maintain accurate service records and job reports. • Support junior technicians by providing technical guidance when required. • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanical Engineer or Senior Automotive Technician. • Strong knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines, transmission systems, suspension, steering, braking, and cooling systems. • Hands-on experience using automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment. • Ability to diagnose and solve complex mechanical problems efficiently. • Experience working with Japanese, German, American, or luxury vehicle brands is preferred. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment. • UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
