In this role, you will oversee and coordinate key phases of the project lifecycle from concept and design through permitting, construction, and handover ensuring safety, quality, budget control, and schedule adherence. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders, helping define standards, processes, and best practices that will guide the successful delivery and long-term operation of the development.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Leading day-to-day coordination and management of construction activities for the Island project, ensuring work is executed safely, on time, and within budget
• Translating master plans, architectural and engineering designs into detailed construction plans, work breakdown structures, and execution schedules
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to align requirements, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum
• Monitoring site progress, quality of workmanship, and compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards
• Conducting regular site inspections, documenting findings, and driving corrective actions where needed
• Preparing, reviewing, and updating project documentation including drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports
• Managing change requests, variations, and claims, assessing impacts on scope, schedule, and cost, and coordinating approval processes
• Participating in project planning sessions, coordination meetings, and stakeholder reviews to keep activities aligned with project objectives
• Identifying construction risks early and proposing mitigation plans
• Coordinating with health, safety, and environmental teams to maintain safe working conditions and adherence to HSE policies and regulations
• Bachelor s degree in Civil or relevant field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in field construction.
• Proven experience in construction project management or site supervision on medium to large-scale projects
• Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to island or coastal developments
• Experience with project planning and scheduling tools and progress tracking
• Solid knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices on construction sites, with a strong commitment to safe operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly address site issues and coordinate solutions with stakeholders
• Exposure to infrastructure works (roads, utilities, marine structures) in addition to building construction
• Experience in coordinating with local authorities and regulatory agencies for permits, inspections, and approvals
• Experience working on island, coastal, or remote-site construction projects
