Architectural Life Safety Design Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced **Architectural Life Safety Design Engineer** to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and coordinating life safety and fire \& life safety systems in compliance with Qatar Civil Defence requirements, international codes, and project specifications. Key Responsibilities * Develop and review **Architectural Life Safety** and fire \& life safety design drawings and reports. * Ensure compliance with **Qatar Civil Defence (QCDD)** regulations and international standards such as **NFPA** and **IBC**. * Coordinate with architectural, structural, MEP, and multidisciplinary teams throughout project execution. * Prepare life safety plans, code compliance reports, and technical documentation. * Review design submissions and provide technical guidance to project teams. * Attend client meetings and coordinate with consultants, authorities, and stakeholders. * Support project approvals and ensure timely delivery of design milestones. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in **Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline**. * **Minimum 12 years of relevant experience** in Architectural Life Safety Design. * **UPDA Grade A Certification** is mandatory. * Previous experience working with an **Engineering Consultancy** is highly preferred. * Strong knowledge of **QCDD**, **NFPA**, **IBC**, and other relevant fire and life safety codes. * Excellent communication, coordination, and technical reporting skills. * Candidates available for **Sponsorship Transfer** or **Recruitment from overseas** are encouraged to apply.
