AP Accountant

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments to maintain strong vendor relationships and avoid penalties. • Reconcile vendor statements with purchase orders and invoices, investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. • Manage the full cycle of accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor communication. • Prepare and process weekly or bi-weekly payment runs, adhering to payment terms and ensuring accurate cash flow management. • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in accounting principles. • Holds relevant certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA), showcasing professional competence. • Has 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, with a proven track record of processing high volumes of invoices accurately. • Exhibits experience in a specific industry, with knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices.
