AI Automation & Digital Transformation Specialist

**About the Role** We are looking for an AI Automation \& Digital Transformation Specialist to lead the implementation of Artificial Intelligence across our engineering and project management operations. The successful candidate will develop AI\-powered solutions, automate business processes, integrate digital platforms, and improve operational efficiency across the organization. The role focuses on applying AI to real business challenges rather than developing AI models from scratch. **Key Responsibilities** **AI \& Automation** * Design and implement AI\-powered solutions to improve business operations. * Develop AI assistants for engineering, project management, contracts, QA/QC, HSE, and business development. * Automate repetitive tasks such as report generation, meeting minutes, document review, and email drafting. * Build intelligent workflows using AI and Microsoft Power Platform. **Digital Transformation** * Identify opportunities to improve company processes using AI and automation. * Integrate Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, and other business systems. * Develop digital workflows to reduce manual work and improve collaboration. **AI Knowledge Management** * Build and maintain the company's AI knowledge base using engineering standards, project documents, specifications, templates, and lessons learned. * Develop Retrieval\-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for internal knowledge retrieval. **Software \& Integration** * Develop Python\-based automation tools. * Integrate AI services through APIs. * Build internal web applications and AI utilities when required. * Maintain version control using Git. **Data \& Analytics** * Develop dashboards using Power BI. * Analyze project and operational data to identify trends and support decision\-making. * Create automated KPI reporting systems. **Continuous Improvement** * Monitor emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications. * Train employees on AI tools and best practices. * Ensure AI solutions comply with company security and confidentiality requirements. **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field. * 3–5 years of experience in AI, automation, software development, or digital transformation. * Strong knowledge of Python. * Experience with Large Language Models (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar). * Experience with API integration. * Experience with Microsoft Power Automate. * Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams. * Knowledge of SQL databases. * Experience with Power BI. * Experience with Git and GitHub. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with Azure AI Services. * Experience with Retrieval\-Augmented Generation (RAG). * Experience with AI Agents and workflow orchestration. * Experience with OCR and document intelligence. * Understanding of engineering, construction, project management, or consultancy workflows. * Familiarity with BIM or AEC digital solutions is an advantage. **Technical Skills** * Python * OpenAI / Azure OpenAI APIs * Microsoft Power Platform * Power Automate * Power BI * SharePoint * Microsoft Teams * REST APIs * SQL * Git / GitHub * Prompt Engineering * AI Workflow Design * Automation Development **Soft Skills** * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Self\-motivated with a continuous learning mindset. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Successfully automate business processes across departments. * Reduce manual effort through AI\-driven solutions. * Deliver AI tools that improve productivity and decision\-making. * Maintain and expand the company's AI knowledge base. * Improve reporting speed and accuracy. * Increase adoption of AI tools across the organization. **Why Join Us?** You will play a key role in transforming a growing engineering consultancy into an AI\-enabled organization.
