Job Description: Agricultural Engineer Job Location: Saudi Arabia Department: Agriculture, Irrigation & Landscaping Job Summary The Agricultural Engineer will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising agricultural operations, horticulture, landscaping, irrigation systems, soil management, and plant protection activities to maintain healthy plants and green areas. Key Responsibilities • Plan and supervise horticultural and landscaping activities. • Develop planting schemes and select suitable plants, trees, and shrubs. • Monitor soil quality, fertility, and nutrient requirements. • Plan and manage irrigation systems and water distribution. • Identify and control plant diseases, pests, and weeds. • Prepare fertilization schedules and plant maintenance programs. • Supervise agricultural workers, technicians, and field teams. • Monitor plant growth and ensure the quality of landscaped areas. • Prepare technical reports on agricultural activities and project progress. • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental standards. Qualifications and Experience • Bachelors degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field. • Minimum 6 8 years of relevant experience, depending on the grade. • Knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, irrigation, soil management, and plant protection. • Experience in supervising agricultural operations and field teams. • Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of AutoCAD and irrigation design is an advantage.
