Accounts Manager

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. • Oversee inventory accounting, stock valuation, cost of goods sold, and stock reconciliation across the assigned location. • Monitor supplier accounts, payment schedules, credit terms, and customer receivables. • Reconcile sales, cash collections, card transactions, and POS reports with accounting records. • Ensure accurate accounting for purchases, sales, expenses, discounts, promotions, and supplier rebates. • Manage VAT compliance, tax documentation, and other applicable statutory reporting requirements in Bahrain. • Strengthen internal controls to minimize financial risks, discrepancies, and operational losses. • Work closely with management, procurement, warehouse, and retail operations teams to support business decisions. • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. • Mater’s or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within FMCG distribution, supermarkets, retail business. • Proven experience in financial reporting, inventory accounting, cost control, and interal controls. • Good knowledge of Bahrain VAT requirements and applicable accounting regulations. • Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced MS Excel skills. • Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines. • Candidates with relevant Bahrain or GCC experience will be preferred.
