Accounting Officer

**Position** **Accounting Officer** **Role Purpose** The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, experience managing accounts through to finalization, and the ability to work independently in a fast\-paced environment. Experience in audit firms or financial services companies will be highly preferred. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES** **General** · Manage day\-to\-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. · Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded. · Handle accounting activities up to the finalization of accounts. · Prepare investment reports and maintain investment\-related financial records. · Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations. · Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. · Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements. · Prepare financial reports and support internal and external audits. · Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records. · Utilize Tally ERP and Microsoft Office applications for accounting and reporting tasks. · Support the finance team with ad hoc accounting and administrative duties as required. **BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE** **Experience \& Skills** · Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. · 3–5 years of accounting experience in a similar role. · Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CMA, or currently pursuing one is preferred. · Experience in an audit firm or financial services company is highly desirable. · Strong knowledge of Tally ERP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. · Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. · Ability to independently manage accounts through to finalization. · Experience with investment reporting is an advantage. · Strong analytical, organizational, and problem\-solving skills. · Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and perform effectively under pressure. · Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
