Accounting Specialist (Male)

Job DescriptionPosition: Accountant (Male)Department: FinanceCompany: Marketing \& Events CompanyJob Purpose: To manage the company’s daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, handle banking transactions, and prepare financial reports related to projects and events to support management decision\-making. Qualifications \& Experience: * **Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Mandatory).** * Minimum **5 years of accounting experience**. * Experience in marketing, events, or project\-based companies is an advantage. * Strong working knowledge of **Zoho Books (required)**. * Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel**. * Solid knowledge of **VAT regulations and filing procedures**. Key Responsibilities:Daily Accounting Duties: * Record daily journal entries and maintain the general ledger. * Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). * Issue client invoices and follow up on collections. * Review and process supplier invoices and payments. * Prepare customer and supplier statements of account. * Assist in monthly payroll preparation in coordination with management. Banking Transactions: * Perform monthly **bank reconciliations**. * Monitor daily bank transactions and transfers. * Coordinate with banks regarding financial transactions and documentation. Reporting \& Compliance: * Prepare monthly and annual financial reports. * Conduct project/event cost analysis (Project Costing). * Monitor marketing and event\-related expenses. * Prepare and submit VAT returns on time. * Support internal and external audit processes. Required Skills: * High level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Ability to work under pressure, especially during peak event periods. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Good communication skills. * Ability to maintain financial confidentiality.
