Accounting Manager-Pharmacy Operations

• Own day to day accounting across GL, AP, AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations for all entities in the group. • Close the books monthly and produce financial statements, MIS packs, budgets, and rolling forecasts. • Consolidate results across entities, including intercompany elimination and allocation of shared costs. • Control pharmacy inventory accounting: stock valuation, expiry and shrinkage provisions, gross margin analysis by outlet, and cycle count discipline. • Manage insurance receivables end to end, covering claim submission tracking, rejections and resubmissions, ageing, and provisioning. • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, IFRS including IFRS 16 lease accounting for outlet leases, and statutory filing requirements. • Monitor cash flow, supplier payment cycles, credit terms, and vendor reconciliations. • Coordinate external audit and close audit points within agreed timelines. • Improve processes and drive ERP optimisation across procurement, POS, and finance. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred. • 3+ years of accounting experience, including 1+ years managing a team. • Direct experience in pharmacy, pharmaceutical distribution, or retail healthcare accounting is mandatory. • Working knowledge of UAE VAT, IFRS, inventory and lease accounting, and multi-entity consolidation. • Hands on ERP experience. Familiarity with pharmacy POS integration is an advantage. • UAE experience preferred. We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to run the finance function for a multi-outlet pharmacy group based in Dubai. The role owns accounting operations, monthly reporting and consolidation, inventory and margin control, VAT compliance, insurance receivables, and the internal control environment across all pharmacy entities.
