Job description

Key Responsibilities Import and export documentation • Prepare and process import and export documentation — commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, customs declarations • Handle bills of lading and coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping lines • Process customs entries through Mirsal 2 and the Dubai Trade portal • Handle documentation for letters of credit and bank guarantees • Ensure every document set matches — quantity, chassis numbers, values and consignee details must agree across the invoice, the bill of lading and the customs declaration Data entry • Enter all transactions into Focus ERP accurately and on time • Maintain complete and correct records for every shipment and every vehicle • This work must be done without mistakes. A single wrong chassis number, quantity or value can delay a shipment, hold up a payment, or trigger a customs or bank query. Accuracy is the core requirement of this role. Bookkeeping and ledgers • Maintain the books in Focus ERP • Record purchases, sales, expenses and journal entries • Keep the general ledger clean and current Banking and reconciliation • Reconcile all bank accounts, including multi-currency • Match incoming payments to invoices and buyers • Follow up on unallocated receipts Payables and receivables • Process supplier invoices and payments • Track customer balances and the aging report • Flag overdue accounts Tax and compliance • Prepare and file VAT returns with the FTA • Support UAE corporate tax compliance • Maintain records to FTA audit standard • Support bank compliance and AML queries with the required documentation Costing • Build landed cost per shipment — vehicle cost, freight, insurance, customs, handling Payroll • Process monthly payroll and WPS Audit • Prepare schedules and supporting documents for the external auditor The technical requirements above are the entry ticket.
