MEP Project Engineer

Job Description We are looking for an experienced **MEP Project Engineer** to join our construction team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating MEP works across construction projects, ensuring that installations are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project schedules, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities * Manage and supervise MEP works for construction projects, including **HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems**. * Review and coordinate **MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical submittals**. * Coordinate MEP activities with civil, structural, architectural, and other project teams. * Monitor site progress and ensure MEP works are completed according to the approved project schedule. * Supervise MEP subcontractors, technicians, and site teams. * Coordinate material requirements, procurement, deliveries, and installation activities. * Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of MEP systems. * Identify technical issues, site conflicts, delays, and required corrective actions. * Prepare progress reports, daily site reports, inspection requests, and other project documentation. * Ensure compliance with project specifications, Bahrain regulations, health and safety requirements, and approved standards. * Attend site meetings and coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. * Assist with quantity verification, variations, material approvals, and project cost control. * Ensure proper completion, testing, snagging, and handover of MEP works. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in **Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related MEP discipline**. * Proven experience as an **MEP Project Engineer** in construction projects. * Strong knowledge of **HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems**. * Experience in handling MEP works for **villas, residential, commercial, or high\-rise buildings**. * Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documents. * Strong site coordination and project management skills. * Knowledge of construction procedures, testing \& commissioning, and quality control. * Good communication and coordination skills. * **Bahrain construction experience is preferred.** * **Must be locally available in Bahrain.** * **Immediate joiner preferred.** Work Location: In person
