Quantity Estimator Engineer

Job Description We are looking for a **Quantity Estimator Engineer** with strong experience in construction estimation, quantity take\-off, BOQ preparation, and cost analysis. The ideal candidate should be able to review drawings, prepare accurate project estimates, obtain supplier/subcontractor quotations, and support the commercial and procurement teams. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed quantity take\-offs and cost estimates from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. * Prepare and review BOQs, material quantities, labor requirements, and project cost estimates. * Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine quantities and pricing. * Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. * Prepare tender estimates, rate analysis, and cost breakdowns. * Assist in pricing variations, additional works, and project changes. * Coordinate with procurement, site, engineering, and project teams regarding material and quantity requirements. * Monitor material costs, subcontractor rates, and market prices. * Maintain accurate estimation and costing records. * Support preparation of tender submissions and commercial proposals. * Identify discrepancies in drawings, BOQs, and specifications and report them accordingly. Requirements * Bachelor's/Diploma in **Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering**, or a related field. * Previous experience in **construction estimation, quantity surveying, or cost estimation**. * Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take\-off, rate analysis, and construction materials. * Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. * Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and estimation/costing tools. * Strong analytical and numerical skills. * Good communication and coordination skills. * **Experience in Bahrain/GCC construction projects is preferred.** * **Immediate joiner.** Work Location: In person
