Interior Designer – Construction

Job Description We are looking for a creative and detail\-oriented **Interior Designer – Construction** to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in interior design and construction projects, with the ability to develop design concepts and coordinate with site teams to ensure proper execution. Key Responsibilities * Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for residential and commercial projects. * Prepare and review **floor plans, elevations, sections, shop drawings, and interior detailing**. * Coordinate interior design requirements with architects, MEP engineers, structural teams, and site supervisors. * Select and specify suitable materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and decorative elements. * Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams during project execution. * Conduct site visits and monitor work progress to ensure designs are implemented according to approved drawings and specifications. * Review material samples, mock\-ups, and finishes for compliance with project requirements. * Assist with quantity take\-offs, material selections, and cost\-conscious design solutions. * Identify design or site issues and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution. * Ensure all interior works meet required quality, safety, and construction standards. * Prepare design presentations and documentation for client and management review. Requirements * Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in **Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field**. * Previous experience in **interior design and construction projects**. * Good knowledge of construction materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and interior detailing. * Ability to read and understand architectural and construction drawings. * Proficiency in relevant design software such as **AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar tools**. * Good knowledge of site coordination and construction processes. * Strong communication, coordination, and problem\-solving skills. * **Locally available in Bahrain.** * **Immediate joiner preferred.** * Candidates with **Bahrain construction experience** will be preferred.
