We are hiring an experienced Workshop Manager for Abu Dhabi to independently manage workshop operations, fleet maintenance, preventive maintenance, manpower planning, and heavy equipment troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in handling multi-brand vehicle fleets , reducing downtime, improving workshop efficiency, and ensuring optimum utilization of equipment, tools, technicians, and manpower. Key Responsibilities: Independently manage day-to-day workshop operations for a fleet of multi-brand vehicles and heavy equipment. Plan, implement, and monitor a systematic Preventive Maintenance Program for the entire fleet. Ensure minimum vehicle and equipment downtime through proper maintenance planning and timely repairs. Optimize utilization of workshop manpower, technicians, spare parts, and equipment. Troubleshoot and supervise maintenance of heavy equipment such as shovels, forklifts, air compressors, and other construction / industrial equipment . Monitor repair quality, maintenance schedules, job cards, spare parts usage, and workshop productivity. Control workshop maintenance costs while ensuring high operational standards. Coordinate with operations, fleet, procurement, and stores teams for smooth maintenance workflow. Manage and organize the workforce, including mechanics, technicians, helpers, and supervisors. Ensure workshop safety standards, housekeeping, and compliance with company procedures. • Diploma in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related technical qualification. • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in independently handling automobile workshop / fleet maintenance operations. • Experience in managing a fleet of multi-brand vehicles is required. • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, heavy equipment repair, vehicle diagnostics, and workshop management. • Ability to troubleshoot heavy equipment such as forklifts, shovels, air compressors, and other industrial or construction equipment. • Good leadership skills with experience in managing technicians and workshop manpower. • Strong planning, coordination, reporting, and cost-control skills. • Preference will be given to candidates with UAE experience . • Valid UAE Driving License will be an added advantage.
