Job description
**Day Wellsite Geologist**
**Location:** Abu Dhabi, UAE (Offshore)
We are seeking an experienced **Day Wellsite Geologist** to support offshore drilling operations in Abu Dhabi.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Monitor and interpret geological and drilling data in real time.
* Supervise mudlogging, LWD/MWD, wireline logging, and coring activities.
* Identify formation tops, lithology, hydrocarbon shows, and geological hazards.
* Provide geological recommendations for casing points, coring intervals, and drilling operations.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and end\-of\-well geological reports.
* Ensure compliance with HSE standards and ADNOC requirements.
* Coordinate with drilling teams, service companies, and office\-based geoscientists.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Geoscience, or a related Earth Science discipline (Master's is an advantage).
* Minimum **10\+ years of experience** as a Wellsite Geologist on offshore drilling projects.
* Strong experience with offshore exploration, carbonate reservoirs, and sour gas (HS) environments.
* Familiarity with UAE offshore geology is highly preferred.
* Experience supervising mudlogging, LWD/MWD, wireline logging, and coring operations.
* Strong geological interpretation, reporting, and communication skills.
* Valid **OPITO BOSIET/T\-BOSIET** certification is an advantage.
