Role Overview We are seeking an experienced **Water Desalination Project Director** to lead large\-scale desalination initiatives, oversee project execution, and ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, manage cross\-functional teams, and drive innovation in water resource management. Key Responsibilities * **Project leadership**: Direct end\-to\-end desalination projects from planning to commissioning. * **Technical oversight**: Ensure design, engineering, and operational excellence. * **Regulatory compliance**: Adhere to Bahrain’s environmental and water management regulations. * **Team management**: Lead engineers, contractors, and project staff to achieve milestones. * **Budget control**: Manage project budgets and optimize resource allocation. * **Innovation**: Introduce advanced desalination technologies and sustainability practices. * **Stakeholder engagement**: Collaborate with government bodies, clients, and community partners. Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. * 12\+ years of experience in water desalination or large\-scale infrastructure projects. * Proven expertise in project management, engineering design, and operations. * Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. * Familiarity with GCC water resource challenges and solutions is an advantage.
