Job description
Job Purpose
To monitor inventory movement and ensure accurate stock control within the warehouse, while maintaining proper receiving, issuing, storage, documentation, and stocktaking processes in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Working in the Al Jumum area between Makkah and Jeddah
• Receive goods delivered to the warehouse and record them in the inventory system according to approved procedures.
• Issue requested items and prepare issue vouchers after obtaining the required approval from the authorized warehouse personnel.
• Record all stock addition and issue transactions on item cards to ensure accurate inventory balances.
• Conduct monthly stocktaking for the warehouse, project sites, and fixed assets, and prepare the required reports.
• Arrange and organize items inside the warehouse according to their nature to ensure proper and safe storage.
• Receive all incoming warehouse items, inspect them properly, and store each item in its designated location.
• Carry out monthly stock reconciliation in coordination with the Warehouse Supervisor to verify item quantities and balances.
• Submit copies of warehouse movement documents to the Finance Department for cost allocation and accounting purposes.
• Monitor warehouse balances and prepare reports showing item status and product validity.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards and ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Diploma as a minimum in Warehouse Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in warehouse and inventory operations.
• Good knowledge of receiving, issuing, stocktaking, reconciliation, and warehouse documentation procedures.
• Ability to use inventory systems and maintain accurate stock records.
• High level of accuracy, discipline, and attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare reports and coordinate with related departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and approved work procedures.
