Veterinary ReceptionistJob Purpose To provide professional and compassionate customer service while managing reception duties, appointments, client communication, billing, and administrative tasks in a veterinary clinic. Main Duties * Welcome clients and their pets professionally and courteously. * Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and general client inquiries. * Schedule and confirm veterinary appointments. * Register new clients and pets and maintain accurate records. * Coordinate appointments, consultations, surgeries, boarding, grooming, and other services. * Prepare, check, and process invoices and payments accurately. * Monitor and follow up on pending balances and client payments. * Explain clinic services, procedures, and policies to clients. * Communicate with veterinarians and veterinary assistants regarding patient appointments and requirements. * Receive and relay client concerns or complaints professionally. * **Do not provide medical advice or diagnosis**; refer medical questions to the veterinarian. * Follow up with clients regarding appointments, treatment updates, discharge, and other instructions as directed by the veterinary team. * Maintain confidentiality of client and patient information. * Keep the reception area clean, organized, and professional. * Ensure proper shift handover and communication with other staff. * Follow all clinic policies, hygiene standards, and management instructions. * Perform other duties assigned by management. Required Skills * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Professional, friendly, and respectful attitude. * Good knowledge of basic veterinary terminology. * Accurate billing and payment handling. * Good organizational and multitasking skills. * Ability to handle difficult or upset clients calmly and professionally. * Ability to work effectively as part of a veterinary team. * Willingness to learn veterinary procedures, terminology, and clinic policies. Professional Standards The Veterinary Receptionist is the **first point of contact for the clinic** and must always maintain professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, proper appearance, and respectful communication with clients and colleagues. Pay: From QAR3,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
