Veterinary Dermatologist

We are seeking a passionate veterinarian with advanced experience in veterinary dermatology who enjoys diagnosing and managing complex skin and ear diseases while also participating in general practice consultations when required. Responsibilities * Diagnose and manage complex dermatological and otological cases. * Perform dermatology consultations and develop long\-term treatment plans. * Investigate allergic skin disease, autoimmune disorders, endocrine dermatopathies, infectious skin diseases, and chronic otitis. * Perform and interpret skin cytology, skin scrapings, fungal diagnostics, trichograms, biopsies, and allergy workups. * Develop individualized treatment and preventive care plans. * Collaborate with internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, and other clinicians on multidisciplinary cases. * Provide high\-quality general practice consultations when dermatology caseload permits. * Maintain complete and accurate medical records. * Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and follow\-up care. * Mentor junior veterinarians and contribute to continuing education within the clinic. Requirements * Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent). * Minimum **5 years of clinical veterinary experience**. * Strong clinical experience in veterinary dermatology. * Board\-certified dermatologists are highly encouraged to apply. * Confident in routine general practice consultations and medical case management. * Excellent diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills. * Strong communication and client education abilities. * Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. * Excellent spoken and written English. Preferred Qualifications * Residency training or board certification (ECVD, ACVD, or equivalent). * Experience with referral hospitals. * Interest in teaching and mentoring. * Experience using modern veterinary practice management software. * Familiarity with evidence\-based dermatology protocols.
